War: Centralisation
& Euphemisms
May 2022
These posters visualise the evils of empires that commit to war. It visualises the dangers of
centralisation of power and the use of euphemisms. With a stroke of a pen, wars can be declared.
What follows is bloodshed & death. The centralization of power has enabled the ruled to provoke
and declare conflict at will.

The poster on right speaks about euphemisms in war. While wars are often seen as a bad thing,
modern-day rulers have begun to justify all sorts of violence with other sugarcoated words.
Propaganda is at its best when the cruellest of actions can be justified with euphemisms. which
be otherwise called "crimes against humanity" if done by terrorists.
These euphemisms are not a work of fiction but have been used on numerous occasions in the
past decade during the US government's "War on Terror". The centralization of power within
a few hands causes hundreds of thousands of deaths, not just soldiers who are reduced to mere
pawns but civilians killed through drone strikes. But who cares? They are just "collateral damage"
in the pursuit of the greater good. Isn't it?
